- Supporting the recruitment of elementary teachers to participate in each stage of the research grant.
- Liaison between Carnegie Learning, WestEd, and school/district staff to coordinate activities and.in-person coaching, onsite interviews, and general support.
- Attend in-person coaching to monitor and support grant implementation at the classroom level and to gather feedback/in-put from participating teachers and school/district leaders.
- Ensure compliance with all NCDPI and US Department of Education grant processes and reports.
- Demonstrated experience working with federal and state provisions, regulations, and/or objectives pertaining to education programs.
- Demonstrated experience utilizing principles and/or practices of local education agency administration.
- Demonstrated experience maintaining effective working relationships with federal, state, and/or local education officials and/or general public.
- Demonstrated experience interpreting policies and/or procedures and/or conveying information to various stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience working with budget and/or finance.

The Mission of the Department of Public Instruction:
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction (NCDPI) is charged with implementing the state's public school laws for pre-kindergarten through 12th grade public schools at the direction of the State Superintendent of Public Instruction and State Board of Education.
The North Carolina Department of Public Instruction is seeking applicants for a Education Program Administrator i (Working Title: PRISM Grant Program Manager) for our Office of Academic Standards, Math/Science/STEM section.
The primary purpose of this position is to oversee the PRISM EIR Grant. This position will implement project goals including:
The position will require occasional travel within North Carolina and at times out of state.
The position is timed to the length of the grant which expires December 31, 2028.EEO Statement:

Master's degree in education, school administration, business administration, or public administration from an appropriately accredited institution and four years of responsible administrative experience in an education environment at the local, state, or federal level; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.All applicants must complete and submit a state application for employment using the NEOGOV Online Job Application System ( Job Opportunities | Sorted by Job Title ascending | Careers (governmentjobs.com) for the State of North Carolina.
