What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage privacy team mailboxes and work queues, ensuring timely and documented responses
- Investigate, assess, and document privacy incidents, including preparing breach notification letters
- Assist in the development and monitoring of corrective actions and remediation activities
- Process and respond to CCPA access/deletion/opt-out requests and assist with HIPAA rights requests
- Collaborate on the implementation of an enterprise-wide personal data inventory and compliance program
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in information security, business, or legal administration
- 3 to 5 years of experience related to data privacy, information security, or regulatory compliance in the financial services industry
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in developing and documenting business process improvements and risk management artifacts
- Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Location in Central or Eastern US time zone preferred or willingness to work those hours
- Relevant certifications such as CIPP/US, CIPM, or CISM
- Change management experience and familiarity with RADAR
- Prior experience with implementing and maintaining data privacy tools
- Enthusiasm for taking on new challenges and delivering results
