      Marsh’s Private Equity and Mergers & Acquisition Services (PEMA) practice is a dedicated global team focused on providing insurance, risk management, due diligence, and post-acquisition services to private equity firms, alternative investment firms, infrastructure funds, strategic investors, other financial sponsors, and their related investments. PEMA employs Marsh’s global platform to deliver innovative, creative and non-traditional uses of risk transfer and insurance capital management.

      Marsh seeks a Private Equity and M&A Project Manager for the New York or Boston office locations.

      The successful candidate will have a good understanding of financial concepts, experience managing demanding clients and overseeing client service teams, a desire to help grow PEMAs book of business and a proven ability to think and work independently. A strong knowledge of insurance is preferred, but not required.

      We will Count on you to:

      • The PEMA Project Manager will be responsible for due diligence project management, directing a team of risk management product line specialists in:

      • Reviewing transaction specific exposures

      • Analyzing coverage

      • Actuarial assessment of outstanding and projected self-funded costs

      • Identifying potential uninsured hidden liabilities and estimating pricing for recommended coverages

      • Transaction specific coverages and post-close coverages

      • Drafting and deliver due diligence reports and oversee new and renewal risk management programs

      What you need to have:

      • Bachelor’s degree, and preferably in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics

      • New College Grad or 1 to 2 years of Corporate experience

      • Proficient in Excel, Word and the Internet

      • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast paced, team based, and time sensitive environment

      • Clear writing and verbal skills required

      • Compelling interpersonal skills required

      • Self-motivation with ability to quickly understand the nuances of risk management and insurance along with their financial implications

      What makes you stand out?

      • Property and Casualty experience desired (from brokerage, risk management or underwriting)

      • Experience in data modeling helpful
