What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide coordinated occupational therapy to patients of all age groups under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
- Record treatments administered in the medical record
- Participate in weekly case conferences and interdisciplinary communication
- Provide verbal or written patient status updates to supervising OT
- Ensure patient safety and compliance with state regulations and national standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant licensed per state requirements
- Good communication skills to relate professionally to patients, caregivers, colleagues, and physicians
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
- Strong clinical documentation skills
- Completion of mandatory training programs
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- 2+ years of experience as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
- Experience working in a home health care setting
