What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Collaborate with juvenile probation officers to provide information on services and residential treatment options
- Complete federally required 30-day assessments for juvenile delinquent youth
- Ensure compliance with state statutes regarding recommendations for residential or community-based services
- Analyze, prepare, and disseminate monthly and annual program reports
- Recruit, select, onboard, and train employees while setting clear expectations and evaluating performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Master’s Degree with 1+ years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience, or Associate’s Degree with 5+ years of experience, or 7+ years of relevant experience
- Specialized knowledge of program area including pertinent rules and regulations
- Extensive knowledge of federal and state laws governing the programs
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Ability to work effectively with various stakeholders and manage workflows
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a supervisory capacity within a similar role
- Knowledge of accounting and budget principles
- Ability to develop and implement new principles and policies
- Proven track record of providing feedback and developing employee skillsets
- Familiarity with the Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program
