Job Description

- Propose and implement innovative solutions in order to reduce process and machinery costs while ensuring the quality of the composite manufacturing processes,
- Ensure permanent tech watch in order to get state-of-the-art equipment,
- Audit equipment suppliers; manage the supplier panel in cooperation with the purchasing department,
- Support the purchasing department in make or buy analysis.
- Collect relevant information (Industrial department, Customer Centre, Development team, Plant) leading to the definition of the required equipment,
- Prepare the specifications of the needed equipment,
- Participate to the choice of suppliers,
- Organize follow up and commissioning of new equipment on site,
- Include lessons learned & safety audit conclusions in equipment specifications,
- Provide CAPEX estimation to be included in the industrial quotations, yearly budget and 5 years Business Plan, in cooperation with the purchasing department.
- When needed, give specific plant support (installation of additional equipment, capacity increase, process issues and troubleshooting),
- Define & organize training on process and equipment topics,
- Develop training support documents for plants and development teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering
- Experience with composite manufacturing is a plus
- Experience in industrial project management
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Fluent in English
- Ability to collect, maintain and analyse complex data
- Ability to troubleshoot and provide corrective action
- Ability to design is a plus
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent verbal, written communication skills
- Must be flexible, dependable, and creative
- Must have strong analytical skills
- Travel is required according to project schedules and plant support needed.

We are searching for a Process Development Engineer to work on our Hydrogen Pressure Vessel Development Centre in Genk, Belgium.
MISSION
Define, implement and validate composite manufacturing equipment in order to support the industrialization of high-pressure vessels according to the New Energies business plan.
Support the plants WW regarding equipment installation & improvements, raw material handling, new constructions & extensions, utilities, TPM & maintenance, relative to high pressure vessel industrialization.
