      About a Job:

      The Process Documentation Specialist will play a vital role in our organization, working closely with various departments to manage its documents throughout their lifecycle. This will involve creating, revising, and storing documents and ensuring that all documents are organized and easily accessible.

      The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. They should also have experience with document management systems and be comfortable using technology to streamline processes.

      What You Will Do:
      • Develop and implement document management policies and procedures.
      • Write and update clear, concise, and accurate procedures and process documents.
      • Ensure that all documents are properly classified, filed, and stored in accordance with company policies and regulations.
      • Monitor document usage, access, and retention to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
      • Work with internal teams to establish standard documentation templates, formats, and styles.
      • Maintain and update a document database or library, ensuring that all documents are appropriately archived and indexed for quick retrieval.
      • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities
      • Conduct research and gather information to develop new procedures
      • Conduct regular reviews and updates of existing procedures to ensure they are up to date
      • Collaborate with HR to train personnel on procedures and processes through live, virtual training sessions and/or non-concurrent training modules.
      • Train employees in proper document handling and management processes.

      What You Need:
      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business administration, communications, Technical Writing, or related field.
      • Minimum of 1 year of experience in procedure writing
      • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
      • Attention to detail and excellent editing and proofreading skills
      • Proficiency with MS Office, web-based applications, and other management tools
      • Experience with technical writing and documentation in manufacturing, business or another analytic sector is preferred.
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
      • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex processes and systems.
      • Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail
      • Ability to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
      • Knowledge of the process improvement and process mapping
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a cross functional team
      • 20% travel to Long Island, and 5% travel to Matamoros, MX (international travel.)


      Our good faith estimate of the salary range for this role is $60,585 - $74,770. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and other factors. In addition to base pay, we offer a full benefits package. This position offers a remote work model.
