      Required Minimum Qualifications:

      High school diploma or equivalent and 5 years of related experience

      Preferred Qualifications:

      Experience working at Government-Owned, Contractor-Operated (GOCO) facilities
      Experience in purchasing goods and services
      Demonstrated customer service experience
      Experience with using Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Costpoint, Cognos, and Microsoft Office Suites, Adobe, Box, Gsuite
      Experience with online meeting Apps, e.g., Zoom, Google Chat, etc.
      Experience using a corporate credit card for commercial purchases

      Ames Laboratory is seeking to fill a part-time (.6 FTE) 1 year term Procurement Assistant position. This position will process and accurately load purchase requisitions into Costpoint, ensuring compliance with internal and external procurement policies. Provide administrative support to the procurement team and assist with resolving requisition or order-related inquiries from internal customers, including following up on past-due orders. Maintain accurate and up-to-date supplier records in the procurement system, including certificates of insurance, active representations and certifications and W-9 forms. Communicating with other Lab departments on Procurement related items.
