What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Monitor key indicators related to assigned categories, analyzing spend and industry trends
- Manage the acquisition process for third-party services, ensuring competitive pricing and compliance
- Collaborate with senior-level partners to develop sourcing and contract strategies
- Review category spend with the Strategic Sourcing Team to optimize sourcing and negotiation results
- Research and evaluate current and new suppliers based on various performance metrics
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 2+ years of work experience or comparable education in procurement or strategic sourcing
- 2+ years of buying experience focused on relevant categories such as Consulting and Marketing
- 2+ years of experience working with eProcurement systems and advanced reporting tools
- 2+ years of experience conducting price negotiations with suppliers using Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
- Knowledge of contracts related to assigned categories
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience developing vendor relations and managing complex procurement categories
- Familiarity with Total Procurement Value strategies and risk management in sourcing
- Proven track record of successful supplier evaluation and relationship management
