- Bachelor of Science Degree or Associate Degree in an Engineering discipline or related field strongly preferred
- Prior purchasing experience; SAP experience preferred
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- The ability to multitask, work independently, and drive process improvement
- Comfortable in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Capable of working independently and as a team member

$50,000 - $65,000 annually, DOEJOB SUMMARY
As a Procurement Specialist, you will work in a manufacturing environment around test equipment and heavy machinery. In this role, you may: manage purchasing activity for concurrent new product development programs; create, forecast, and execute sourcing and tooling plans to ensure product launch meets all program targets for quality, cost, and timing; manage direct material cost of the product; influence sourcing decisions for new product; work with suppliers to ensure commitments and project deliverables; work with engineers and technicians to ensure products sourced meets requirements; manage the prototype ordering (RFQ, negotiation, ordering), and work collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.QUALIFICATIONS
