      Procurement Specialist


      About the Role:

      The Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in supporting the procurement process for Summit Interconnect.


      Reponsibilites:

      • Assist with creating, processing, and tracking purchase orders for PCB related materials.
      • Liaise with suppliers to resolve order discrepancies or issues and communicate delivery schedules and expectations.
      • Help research and identify potential suppliers/vendors for PCB materials, obtaining price quotations.
      • Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, contracts, and supplier information.
      • Monitor and update inventory levels, assist with stock counts and reconciliation.
      • Provide administrative support to the procurement team. Scheduling meetings and maintaining calendars.
      • Adhere to company procurement policies and procedures, including compliance with relevant regulations.

      Qualifications:

      • High School diploma. College degree preferred but not required.
      • Previous experience as procurement assistant or related administrative role
      • Basic understanding of PCBs
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
      • Strong organizational skills for managing purchase orders, maintaining records, and coordinating with various stakeholders
      • Strong attention to detail
      • Teamwork- ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments
