What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and execute sales plans to increase revenue and profit margin
- Maintain and build customer relationships while identifying new opportunities
- Collaborate with external growers to expand sales through seasonal products
- Support market development for secondary product and engage with new brokers
- Coordinate with Produce Production for product procurement and sales planning
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 3 years of experience in the produce industry, including knowledge of movement and quality requirements
- Experience in produce sales and marketing
- Knowledge of the organic food marketplace
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, and general business systems
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Negotiation and trade experience
- Motivated to maintain trade knowledge through industry contacts and resources
- Familiarity with Procurant, iTrade, Salesforce, and FoodLogIQ
