Job Description

- Manage a set of existing products through meeting the demands and needs of customers, the business or special projects.
- Manage processes and interpret market, customer, and competitive information, in order to help define future product development and feed across the PPRP annual program and bespoke requirements.
- Collaborate with the Senior Consumer Product Manager to define strategy and deliver product & process change across the customer journey from acquisition to retention to deliver consumer growth.
- Contribute to the delivery of the consumer business objectives as described in the Consumer strategy
- Managing and developing existing processes that are focused on capturing and interpreting customer and business MI that might indicate a product change requirement
- These requests are normally aligned to new business or renewal processes and lead times. As such, the Consumer Product Development Manager will need to be able to react quickly and effectively to requests.
- Prioritising requests based on the importance to the business, customer or regulator and its expected performance. However, it will also be important to prioritise the request against wider business objectives.
- Impact assesses requirements taking into account the following key areas:
- System functionality – Swift or other systems associated to Swift.
- Business processes – identify where requirements may drive new or additional business processes.
- Liaising cross functionally to ensure that requirements can be supported fully. Key cross-functional relationships are with Sales, Service, Commercial Finance, IS, Legal
- Ideally a graduate with experience in at least one of the following business areas
- Product Management/Marketing
- Customer Service
- Sales
- Business Improvement
- Ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders both internally and externally.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills, with emphasis in achieving results and successful outcomes.
- Strong analytical and process management skills. Investigative and logical, with attention to detail.
- Excellent writing and presenting detailed reporting skills.
- Previous knowledge of IS Systems like Swift and / or knowledge of PMI products would be advantageous
