What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and execute the Cards Networks strategy for North America and LATAM
- Collaborate with go-to-market teams to enhance card coverage based on customer needs
- Represent the product in negotiations with card networks alongside Partnerships Teams
- Engage with merchants to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement in card processing
- Develop a roadmap for Stripe’s card network capabilities in collaboration with Engineering
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 5 years of product experience in a relevant field
- Strong business acumen with a focus on improving business operations
- Customer and partner-facing experience with effective communication skills
- Proven ability to drive cross-functional teams and processes
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in Payments or working with Card Networks or Banking partners
- Familiarity with SQL or a willingness to learn
- Background in external-facing roles, such as sales or partnerships, with negotiation experience
