      Department Overview

      The Business Radio Strategy and Planning team is responsible for the portfolio strategy and the go to market deliverables for the products and solutions we sell globally. This includes portfolio strategy and actions to 1) Strengthen and grow the core, 2) Expand into adjacent opportunities and 3) Drive strategic growth. In line with these key strategic thrusts we are organized into 5 main focus areas that align closely with sales and engineering teams as well as other product teams including systems, infrastructure, and accessories.


      Job Description

      Directs the development of company market requirements for specific products or product lines, including product strategy definition, requirements analysis, and pricing. Interacts with engineering and product management developing business plans, managing lifecycles, and product positioning in the marketplace. Oversees market research and product concept testing, monitors’ competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. Contributes to development of product specifications and requirements, identifying and developing products that align to channel strategies. Coordinates and oversees the execution of advertising and promotional programs to ensure profits meet objectives.

      • Drive relevant regional Business Radio business cases and prioritization

      • Drive focus groups or relevant resource pool to vet the validity of pipeline features and prioritization

      • Drive alignment with new feature requirements in pending field requirements for the Global Teams

      • Asses win / lose strategy of business case to vet go / no go

      • Drive business case through engineering and confirm deliverable functionality as required to adhere to the business case

      Own all system and hardware releases and drive go to market activities including but not limited to:

      • Field training of value proposition and positioning

      • Region specific sales tactics

      • Region specific content

      • Orderability

      • Marcom

      • Pricing strategy

      • Cancellations and promotions

      • Drive Regional Sales Enablement:

      • Audit needs of the field support teams and drive product team support to provide presentations via relevant speakers (SME / CSE calls)

      • General “how to” field support

      • Identify and drive non system release training needs

      Additional Qualified Skills:

      • Requires knowledge of Product Life Cycles and Agile process
