      What you'll do

      Through your role as a Product Owner, you'll design, run and deliver banking of the future with accountability for the creation and delivery of all products and services required to meet the customer journey vision. In this influential role, you'll be responsible for putting the customer at the heart of everything you do, while leading multi-disciplinary squads responsible for the delivery of their roadmap.

      Day-to-day, you’ll be:

      • Creating and driving the delivery of the journey backlog aligned to our vision
      • Continually identifying opportunities to digitise, improve and manage the customer end-to-end journey to deliver increased customer value and effortless customer experiences
      • Driving all business performance and proposition activities, making sure the customer journey runs effortlessly with true commercial focus
      • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve the product roadmap as part of a fully accountable self-organising team

      The skills you'll need

      We're looking for someone with experience of working in and leading a multidisciplinary Agile team to achieve a product roadmap. You’ll have a background of working in partnership with design and technology disciplines to build prioritised well rounded value orientated backlogs, and you'll be a subject matter expert in product design and delivery.

      Additionally, you’ll have excellent knowledge of critical Agile capabilities and ways of working, as well as the ability to exercise change delivery, customer experience design, commercial management and analytics

      We’ll also expect:

      • Experience of driving and delivering innovative ideas through Agile ways of working, looking at harnessing digital and technological advances that truly benefit our customers
      • Experience of working on commercial lending
      • The ability to identify and envision what the future of digital banking could look like
      • A proven ability to adapt to quickly changing environments
      • A talented communicator who can inspire and engage both customers and colleagues
