What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Define and manage the product vision, roadmap, and feature backlog for enterprise modernization
- Collaborate with stakeholders and Agile teams to align feature delivery with business outcomes
- Serve as the voice of the customer, prioritizing end-user needs in backlog management
- Ensure compliance with federal documentation mandates through effective requirement traceability
- Utilize metrics-driven insights to inform backlog adjustments and enhance delivery performance
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of professional experience in IT program delivery, including 5+ years in Product Management or Product Ownership
- Strong understanding of SAFe, Agile, and Lean product delivery frameworks
- Proven ability to manage large-scale backlogs and multiple Agile teams in a federal or enterprise environment
- Proficient in Agile lifecycle tools for backlog management and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) certification
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- Experience managing federal digital modernization projects or case management systems
- Familiarity with Human-Centered Design (HCD) and Agile UX collaboration methods
- Knowledge of DevSecOps and cloud-native development
