What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop, refine, and communicate the product vision and roadmap for the Case Management Modernization Program
- Own and manage the program and team backlogs, defining epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
- Collaborate with stakeholders and the Release Train Engineer to plan Program Increments and align feature delivery
- Serve as the voice of the customer, representing end-user needs in backlog prioritization
- Ensure traceability between requirements, design, development, and testing in compliance with federal documentation mandates
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 10+ years of professional experience in IT program delivery, including 5+ years in Product Management or Product Ownership
- Strong understanding of SAFe, Agile, and Lean product delivery frameworks
- Demonstrated experience managing large-scale backlogs and multiple Agile teams in a federal or enterprise environment
- Proficient in Agile lifecycle tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally) for backlog management and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred)
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- SAFe Product Owner / Product Manager (POPM) certification
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification
- Experience managing federal digital modernization projects or case management systems
- Familiarity with Human-Centered Design (HCD) methods
- AWS Cloud Practitioner certification
