What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the voice of the customer to the development team, translating business needs into technical requirements
- Collaborate with product management to define and prioritize the team's roadmap in alignment with program vision
- Manage the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clear, actionable, and prioritized for maximum value delivery
- Work cross-functionally with AI/ML engineers, data scientists, and subject matter experts to deliver innovative solutions
- Define acceptance criteria and validate that delivered features meet customer needs and quality standards
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager, ideally for B2B SaaS or healthcare/insurance technology products
- Proven experience developing or delivering AI/ML-driven products, specifically with generative AI, LLMs, or NLP-based systems
- Familiarity with healthcare claims data formats (837, UB-04, HCFA 1500), medical records, and EHR data
- Understanding of medical claims workflows — payer side or third-party admin (TPA) side
- Hands-on experience collaborating with AI/ML teams, including prompt engineering and model evaluation
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Familiarity with platforms such as Azure OpenAI, AWS Bedrock, HuggingFace, or similar LLM environments
- Experience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG) systems or knowledge graph integration
- Background in healthcare compliance, medical coding, or medical review
- Past experience working in property & casualty insurance, workers comp, or disability claims technology
