What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Develop and maintain relationships with agricultural customers to increase product revenue
- Establish marketing and distribution plans for agricultural markets
- Manage logistics and provide technical guidance for land application programs
- Ensure compliance with fertilizer regulations and land application permits
- Prepare and submit compliance reports and monitor regulatory trends
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Associate’s degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of experience in biosolids recycling and soil management
- Prior experience in an agricultural environment
- Must be able to travel domestically 25-50% of the time
- Willingness to learn about federal, state, and local regulatory programs related to fertilizer sales
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Certification in crop advisory, agronomy, soil science, or nutrient management planning
- Sales experience in an agricultural context
- Experience with NetSuite software
