What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Lead product stewardship within the Medical Surgical (MedSurg) business for a portfolio of medical devices and related products
- Execute product stewardship activities to support business growth initiatives, including materials compliance and safety assessments
- Develop and implement strategies for timely introduction of new and modified products
- Facilitate product safety evaluations in collaboration with subject matter experts
- Proactively guide development teams toward favorable alternatives in product development

What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of experience in product stewardship, biocompatibility, environmental sciences, quality, or a related technical field
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND seven (7) years of relevant experience in a similar field
- Knowledge of the medical device industry and experience with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 13485)
- Experience in product biocompatibility testing and assessments, including related standards such as ISO 10993
- Demonstrated leadership in process development, creative problem solving, or project management

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Global regulatory compliance experience with chemical regulations such as TSCA and REACH
- Experience in product life cycle assessments and risk-based decision-making
- Familiarity with cross-functional collaboration among laboratory, quality, regulatory, and manufacturing teams
