  Production Administrative Assistant

  Tommy’s is looking for a Production Administrative Assistant at our Tommy Car Wash Systems corporate office in Holland, MI. This role will be responsible for the computer processing and data entry that accompanies the production of our state-of-the-art stainless steel car wash arches, signage, and pod assembly, loading and unloading shipments, and other general warehouse responsibilities.

  Position Responsibilities:

  • Documenting the completion of warehouse production work orders
  • Printing and updating checklists
  • Documenting the disposition of obsolete parts
  • Documenting defective parts and updating associated records
  • General assembly/ kitting of car wash equipment
  • Coordination and communication of work order completion with Purchasing, Project Development, Fulfillment, and Equipment Install teams
  • Other duties as assigned; duties and responsibilities may change at any time with or without notice.

  Position Qualifications & Candidate Attributes:

  • Technical savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office; experience within database systems a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Neat and organized
  • Physically able to load and unload full trucks with intensity - able to stand and move quickly for 8-10 hours each day, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Experience with assembly, utilizing basic hand and power tools / equipment
  • Able to work as part of a team to meet production deadlines
  • Attention to detail and a great attitude must be brought to work each day
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, physical and lift test
  • Process-oriented and strong collaborator with ability to communicate across various departments
  • Ability to read blueprints, experience welding and fabricating is a plus

  Work Environment and Physical Demands

  This job operates in a first shift warehouse environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets along with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse / assembly tools and functions. This role operates primarily indoors with limited to no travel expectation.

  To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, team member must be able to:

  • Talk and listen
  • Frequently stand and wok in a fast-paced environment where they will often be multitasking
  • Lift between 50 - 70 lbs
  • Remain in a stationary position 50% of the time
  • Able to move about inside the warehouse
  • Be able to drive, go up heights
  • Ability to work and commute in all weather conditions
  • Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery such as; calculator, copy machine and printer
  • Able to effectively communicate, detect, converse with, discern, convey, express oneself and exchange information
  • Able to walk, bend, twist, turn, stoop, climb steps, reach with hands, use hands to fingers
  • Tolerate vibrating tools and louder than normal work environment at times
