What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform complex qualitative and quantitative analyses of property operations to determine loan viability
- Analyze financial statements and documents to evaluate the risk profile of complex transactions
- Conduct in-depth analysis and structuring processes for individual properties or portfolios
- Develop narratives for submission to Credit and agencies, including qualitative and quantitative analysis
- Draft, review, and analyze complex term sheets and applications for potential transactions
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum 5 years of experience in affordable housing finance, LIHTC underwriting, or related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with tax credit structures is a plus
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high attention to detail
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of LIHTC compliance requirements and state allocation processes
- Experience with real estate development or syndication
- Familiarity with tax credit equity and debt financing structures
