What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Perform qualitative and quantitative analysis of property operations to determine the viability of proposed loans
- Conduct financial modeling and analysis for Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) transactions
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate deal closings
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Stay current on LIHTC regulations and industry trends to support strategic decision-making
What is Required (Qualifications):
- 1–3 years of experience in affordable housing finance, LIHTC underwriting, or a related field
- Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines with high attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree or a comparable combination of education and experience
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Knowledge of LIHTC compliance requirements and state allocation processes
- Experience with real estate development or syndication
- Familiarity with tax credit equity and debt financing structures
