WHAT TO EXPECT
The main purpose of this role will be to provide day to day supervision of an experienced team in support of sequencing and allocation of scheduling production requirements and to report key metrics for the Solihull Plant.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
• Supervision of the team to ensure shift cover and production operations are supported in the achievement of delivery metrics
• Delivery of key performance indicators to achieve key scorecard metrics of Build on day and Accepted by Sales
• Co-ordination of vehicles and new models through the production system
• Contribute to the setting of production in each area to maintain a balanced flow throughout the area
• Support new model launch plans and production strategiesWHAT YOU’LL NEED
• Relevant previous experience of team supervision including consistent delivery of production targets in Scheduling and Capacity Planning in Manufacturing
• Knowledge and skills with a broad understanding of the interfaces into vehicle platforms and plants
• Experience of vehicle build and production
