Manage a Production Control Planning Team.
Manage order demand within CostPoint (Inventory Reservations, CMR, or MRP).
Maintain a Master Production Schedule using Dynafact Manufacturing Software.
Conduct Program Status meetings with internal and external customers.
Perform Capacity Analysis with a Business Development Team.
Maintain and report on performance metrics such as On-Time Delivery, Schedule Adherence, Etc.
Conduct Performance Evaluations.
Foster a culture of Continuous Improvement.
Work daily in MS Excel and Project Software per Program.
Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience supervising or leading teams or projects.
Familiarity with AS9100 Aerospace Standard.
A strong working knowledge of Deltek CostPoint.
Prior experience with Multi-Resource Scheduling (Experience in a CNC machining environment is a plus).
Good computer skills (MS Excel, MS Project, ERP System Experience).
Candidate must be knowledgeable in Lean Manufacturing principles (5S, Kaizen, Leader Standard Work, Etc.).
Candidate must be able to demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Candidate needs to have experience using Root Cause Analysis Techniques (Fishbone, 5 Why, etc.).
Candidate must possess good written and verbal communication skills and be able to lead meetings with large groups of people.
Candidate must be able to build a Production Schedule with or without Milestones from scratch.
Must be a US Citizen and must possess and maintain a Final Secret Clearance.
Experience using MS Project or equivalent planning software.
Prior experience leading a Production Control Team.
Leidos is seeking a Production Planning Manager to join a diverse team to create unique solutions for complex problems. The ideal candidate will need to have a background in Production Control, Multi-Resource Scheduling, and prior experience using Deltek CostPoint. Pay Range:
Pay Range $87,100.00 - $157,450.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
