      Required Education:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

      Required Experience:

      • Must have a minimum of 7 to 10 years in the cement industry working as a process engineer.

      Experience and abilities you will need:

      • Ability to work with all levels at the plant as well as with corporate management and technical teams.
      • Understanding of complex mechanical and electrical technology and equipment.
      • Achievement oriented, strong work ethic, tenacious, impeccable attention to detail.
      • Good written and oral communication skills.
      • Microsoft applications including Windows and Office applications experience is required.
      • Capable to do statistical correlation between quality and process
      • Knowledge of the manufacturing process of the company (cement, block, concrete etc.) and its elements
      • Full knowledge of all the technology and trends
      • Knowledge of the main indicators of efficiency and effectiveness of manufacturing processes
      • Knowledge of materials and energy balance in and grinding calcination processes
      • Knowledge systems of continuous improvement, analysis tools and troubleshooting
      • Advanced statistics and lean manufacturing /black belt knowledge preferred
      • Ability to communicate in English, written and verbal, Spanish is a plus
