  For permanent employment OHB System AG in Oberpfaffenhofen is looking for a

  Product Engineer (m/f/d)

  Your Tasks

  • Support project teams in providing solutions to individual mechanical challenges during the handling, integration, and testing phases of space product development
  • Compile and maintain product-level requirements, in collaboration with functional and systems engineers, ensuring alignment with overall project goals
  • Create part drawings, assembly drawings, and part lists, ensuring accuracy and completeness in technical documentation
  • Maintain regular coordination with Project AIT and various engineering disciplines to ensure smooth project execution and cross-functional alignment
  • Provide support for all product-related technical matters, including offering technical inputs for cost and schedule assessments

  Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field
  • Practical experience in development engineering of prototypes or special devices, preferably in the aerospace industry. Experience in mechanical ground support equipment (MGSE) design is an advantage
  • Robust knowledge in mechanical design, with expertise in CAD software (Siemens NX) and manufacturing processes. Proficiency in creating detailed models, drawings, and part lists is required
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with experience in technical planning and decision-making. Capability to analyze complex mechanical systems and develop effective solutions
  • Proven ability to manage tasks methodically, prioritize effectively, and achieve goals within set timelines and budgets. Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing project schedules is advantageous
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences. Experience in preparing technical documentation and reports is essential
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, fostering a cooperative and productive work environment
  • Fluency in English is required. German language skills are a plus
