      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide pre-visit support by reviewing patient records to capture chronic diagnoses and identify documentation opportunities
      - Conduct post-visit reviews to assess documentation completeness and support medical decision-making based on patient acuity
      - Collaborate with providers and professional coders to enhance documentation practices and coding accuracy
      - Develop and implement training programs for providers and staff to improve documentation and coding behaviors
      - Maintain knowledge of CMS and industry guidelines to ensure compliance and best practices in clinical documentation

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Minimum educational requirement: Associate degree
      - Licensure / Certification: CCS-P, CPC, CRC, or other coding credential
      - Extensive clinical knowledge and understanding of pathophysiology
      - Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
      - Proficient with electronic medical records and personal computer applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - RN or LPN licensure is helpful but not required
      - Demonstrated success in project management and education delivery
      - Experience in building educational materials for healthcare providers
      - Familiarity with data analytics and performance outcome data
      - Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication across all organizational levels
