What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Conduct clinical coding audits according to client contracts and internal quality assessments
- Mentor and train internal coders, providing educational feedback and instruction on coding guidelines
- Monitor coding accuracy rates and ensure compliance with coding standards
- Collaborate with the coding management team to meet educational needs of coders
- Maintain coding knowledge and serve as a coding expert for internal and external meetings
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of 3 years of experience coding Profee/PB charts
- Experience using Athena, Cerner, Epic, and 3M (TruCode preferred)
- AHIMA or AAPC coding credential required: RHIA, CPC, RHIT
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of coding accuracy
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- CPMA certification
- Experience working with global/offshore coders
- Familiarity with multiple encoders and systems
- Proficiency in Google Suite (Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets)
