What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Serve as the first-level point of contact for Student Ambassadors, addressing inquiries about program requirements and community engagement strategies
- Assist in coordinating networking events and professional development opportunities for Student Ambassadors
- Provide administrative support for program meetings, stakeholder communications, and special events as directed
- Process stipend payments and maintain records for Student Ambassadors
- Support the advancement of environmental justice and climate equity goals within California communities
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in program coordination, student services, community organizing, or a related field
- Associate's degree from a California Community College or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, database management, and virtual collaboration tools
- Strong organizational skills and passion for environmental and climate justice
- Ability to connect authentically with diverse student populations
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies, Public Policy, Social Work, Communications, or a related field
- Knowledge of zero-emission vehicles, clean transportation, or environmental policy
- CA Driver's License
