Job Overview:

The Program Assistant monitors the milieu, leads psycho-educational groups, and assists in the transportation of children/adolescents to IOP and Afterschool Programs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• B.A. or B.S. in psychology or social work
  • In lieu of degree, five years clinical experience with children/adolescent population
• New Jersey valid driver's license in good standing

Scheduling Requirements:

• Shift working, 12:00pm-8:00pm
• Monday- Friday
• Full-Time

Essential Functions:

• Facilitate psycho-educational groups for clients in Child & Adolescent Partial Hospital Program
• Monitor patient's progress based on behavior modification status system
• Collaborate with the treatment team on monitoring and supporting patients achieve therapeutic goals
• Assist with transportation of patients
