What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Provide support for virtual Zoom training, including scheduling, hosting, creating breakout rooms, and troubleshooting participant technology issues
- Assist with in-person training events, including registration, event set-up and clean up, and coordination with trainers and funders
- Update website content to ensure accessibility and broad reach to target communities
- Support community events by manning booths and engaging with attendees
- Flex communication style to meet the needs of diverse audiences
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Must be located in King County, Washington, and able to work from the Seattle office one to three days a week
- Available for occasional evening and weekend training sessions
- Experience working directly with people from diverse backgrounds
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based business solutions
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Proficiency in Somali, Amharic, Vietnamese, or Arabic languages
- Two years of relevant experience in hosting training or event management
- Knowledge of early child development or special education fields
