- Bachelor’s degree with knowledge of healthcare systems.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ work experience in health care industry, higher education or related field.
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
- Ability to correspond with clinical affiliates in a positive, professional manner.
- Ability to effectively speak to student and community groups.
- Exceptional time management, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Must have use of sensory skills in order to effectively communicate and interact with other employees and the public through the use of the telephone and personal contact as normally defined by the ability to see, read, talk, hear and handle or feel objects and controls.
- Must have physical capability to effectively use and operate various items of office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, calculator, copier, and fax machine.
- Ability to occasionally lift or carry up to 10 pounds.
- Must be capable of sitting in stationary position for 50% or more of time.
- Provide administrative coordination for the support and development of programs in the Division of Nursing and Allied Health.
- Coordinate faculty updates and clinical paperwork.
- Maintain, monitor, and coordinate the completion of program student clinical site training requirements and events.
- Coordinate the renewal of clinical contracts and affiliation agreements.
- Act as a liaison between the clinical affiliates and the program faculty and students concerning policies and procedures.
- Ensure clinical sites receive required documentation of clinical students include immunization records, background checks, OSHA, HIPPA, BLS, drug screening, etc, according to clinical affiliate guidelines.
- Attend meetings, as needed, with clinical affiliates to coordinate student placement and to ensure BPCC compliance with clinical training site requirements.
- Coordinator program advisory boards and selection committees.
- Maintain databases and files of clinical information as required by clinical affiliates, accrediting agencies, division and College policy.
- Advise students on program clinical requirements.
- Participate in the completion of self-study and other accreditation reports and on-site visits.
- Conduct student orientation sessions for all clinical students.
- Maintain the clinical program communication on Canvas.
- Monitor and respond to all program specific email addresses promoting recruitment for the Division.
- Work with Program Directors to produce clinical/program handbooks that meet all accreditation, regulatory, and NAH Division standards and requirements.
- Assist with program Website revisions.
- Participate in ongoing assessment and improvement of NAH academic programs.
- Participate in registration and pre-registration.
- Participate in recruiting activities, including tours, as a representative of the Division.
- Coordinate the completion of program specific surveys.
This position is for a full-time, 12-month, unclassified, staff position.
Salary commensurate with credentials and experience.
