- Sponsorship and Partnership Development: Identifies and approaches potential sponsors, advertisers, and corporate partners. Develops and presents compelling proposals to secure new sponsorships and partnerships and builds and nurtures long-term relationships. Maintains regular communication and engagement to ensure ongoing support and collaboration. Actively seeks and secures new cash partnerships to support UVU Athletics programs and initiatives.
- Client Relationship Management: Develops innovative programs and initiatives to enhance the value provided to corporate partners. Introduces new services or benefits to better serve and engage sponsors. Implements client initiatives, regularly reviews effectiveness, and makes adjustments and improvements based on sponsor feedback and needs to ensure high levels of sponsor satisfaction. Regularly engages with corporate sponsors through direct communication and addresses any concerns or requests promptly and professionally. Creates and distributes newsletters to keep sponsors informed and engaged. Organizes corporate partner gatherings and events to foster networking and relationship building. .
- Fulfillment and Coordination: Oversees the implementation and delivery of partnership agreements. Ensures all sponsorship and advertising commitments are met to the highest standards. Coordinates with internal teams and external partners to execute partnership activities. Monitors and reports on partnership performance and deliverables.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of University, WAC, BIG 12, and NCAA rules and regulations.
- Knowledge of sales proposals and presentations.
- Interpersonal, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Skills in creating new client initiatives.
- Skills in overseeing, coordinating, and executing corporate partnership fulfillment.
- Ability to meet and deal with the public and solicit new cash partnerships.
- Ability for making cold calls and budget relieving trade sales presentations for UVU Athletics.
- Ability to track prospective sales and inventory throughout each fiscal year and provide up to date data to the administration.
Utah Valley University is seeking a Program Director to lead Wolverine Sports Properties, serving as the primary liaison for corporate partnerships and sponsorships within UVU Athletics. This is a dynamic opportunity to drive revenue growth and strengthen community and business relationships through strategic sponsorship and advertising initiatives. The Program Director will take the lead in identifying and securing new partnerships, while also ensuring exceptional fulfillment and service for existing sponsors.

Preferred Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a master's degree in Sports Business Management; OR a bachelor's degree in Sports Business Management and two years of experience related to the summary of duties with a master's degree to be completed in three years.
