      Lear’s Pozzo d’Adda plant, located near Milan, is a key site in our European Seating division. The plant specializes in the complete production of automotive seating systems—from foam and trim to final assembly and logistics.

      Equipped with advanced automation and Just-in-Time processes, the site ensures high efficiency, top quality, and on-time delivery. Fully integrated with our central teams and suppliers via real-time systems, Pozzo d’Adda plays a strategic role in delivering innovative, high-performance seating solutions to major global automakers.

      We are looking for a Launch Manager to lead and coordinate all activities related to the introduction of new projects within the plant. This is a management role requiring cross-functional leadership to ensure all departments, central teams, suppliers, and customers are aligned for a successful launch.



      Responsibilities:
      • Lead all plant launch activities from RFQ through SOP
      • Ensure alignment with project timing, budget, and quality goals
      • Collaborate closely with the Plant Manager and all plant departments (Engineering, Quality, Logistics, Finance, etc.)
      • Track and drive action plans across all functions to meet project milestones
      • Oversee product changes and ensure correct implementation
      • Manage start-up costs and ensure compliance with budget
      • Organize internal meetings and formal Plant Launch Reviews
      • Coordinate customer deliveries and manage additional launch-related requests
      • Ensure smooth information flow between plant, central functions, suppliers, and customers
      • Oversee completion and accuracy of launch documentation (LPMP, PPAP, MDS, QTS, etc.)
      • Participate in Design Reviews, Supplier Reviews, and Management Gateways
      • Support logistics planning, layout definition, packaging, and supplier communication
      • Promote continuous improvement and ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations



      Requirements:
      • Proven experience in managing new project launches in a manufacturing environment (automotive preferred)
      • Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
      • Solid knowledge of quality and launch tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, LPMP, etc.)
      • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost tracking
      • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and interface with external stakeholders
      • Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
      • Problem-solving mindset and ability to handle complexity and deadlines
      • Willingness to travel as needed
