- Liaison and Communication: Act as a liaison between Business Unit (BU) Engineering, suppliers, and the Failure Analysis (FA) team to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration. Follow up closely with each stakeholder to ensure FA timelines are met.
- FA Case Management: End to End Tracking of the FA cases to Ensure smooth and timely execution of the Failure Analysis process. This includes Failure Identification (FI), understanding the failure details, Shipment tracking, Coordination with FA site team to schedule & track FA completion and discuss the findings and ensure timely analysis and resolution of issues.
- Update FA case status efficiently in Quality Management System. Wherever needed, have a discussion with the product team to discuss the FA results & next actions.
- Report findings in a clear and concise manner for customer reporting & status reporting in the Quality Management System.
- Identify overdue cases from vendors and drive vendors to obtain FA reports.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to identify component failure trends and recommend corrective actions. Utilize prior experience in hardware engineering to optimize processes and improve efficiency.
- Data Analysis and Visualization: Gather data from various sources and ensure its accuracy and completeness. Clean and preprocess data to prepare it for analysis. Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in large datasets.
- Bachelor of Engineering with ETC/Electrical/E&E or Equivalent
- Project Management skills to oversee and drive FA processes to successful completion.
- Knowledge supply chain processes for electro-mechanical/telecom products and good understating of Quality and/or FA process
- Experience in telecom Product design/manufacturing preferred
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data & collect evidence, prepare PowerPoint presentations, analyze logs etc.
- Work across time zones with global teams and vendors to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Demonstrate proficiency in data analysis, SQL, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Develop and maintain informative data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Excel to support decision-making.
- Suggest improvements to data processes and methodologies.
