      The Center for Human Development, (CHD) is seeking a Program Manager to join our team in the Hartford, CT area. Our residential, outreach, and direct care staff establish life-changing relationships with our participants and provide opportunities to optimize their independence, rehabilitation and recovery.

      Your role as a Program Manager :

      Residential Program Manager provides support, training and supervision to Direct Care Staff as they assist individuals with co-occurring disorders of mental illness and addiction in their efforts to live independently in the community. The Program Manager works within the program’s model, establishing open communication, support, and accountability among co-workers and staff. The Manager is responsible for the training and supervision of all Full, Part-Time and Per Diem Direct Care Staff.

      REQUIRMENTS:

      • High School diploma or GED required
      • BA/BS Degree in Mental Health related field preferred
      • LCSW, LMFT, LPC preferred
      • One year supervisory experience required, two years in a human service organization preferred
      • Two years’ experience working with adults with severe and prolonged mental illness and/or two years’ experience working with people in recovery
      • Must have excellent oral and written communication
      • Must be proficient in use of computers
      • Reliable automobile and valid driver’s license required
      • Approved criminal background check (CORI)
