      What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
      - Provide management, guidance, and technical oversight for all projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to quality principles and donor guidelines
      - Deliver technical solutions to partners in South America for effective program design and implementation
      - Lead efforts in securing new funding opportunities and developing high-quality proposals
      - Support capacity strengthening initiatives for partner staff in Emergency Preparedness and Response programming
      - Collaborate with technical experts and partners to ensure effective project implementation and monitoring

      What is Required (Qualifications):
      - Bachelor’s degree in international development, International Relations, or Humanitarian Response
      - Minimum of 8 years of relevant field-based project management experience, including at least 3 years in Emergency Preparedness and Response
      - Proven experience managing moderately complex projects within an international NGO context
      - Strong background in providing technical assistance and developing successful proposals for external donor funding
      - Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is encouraged

      How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
      - Master’s degree in a relevant field
      - Experience with humanitarian principles and standards, particularly related to CRS and Caritas Internationalis
      - Knowledge of security protocols and management of emergency programs in insecure environments
      - Familiarity with ICT tools such as Kobo Toolbox and Commcare
      - Strong relations management abilities and experience engaging with partner organizations
