- Build and maintain a strong, competent, and high-functioning team by recruiting, hiring, retaining, and developing diverse staff.
- Conduct staff performance reviews, provide coaching, and create development opportunities.
- Lead implementation of high-fidelity Harm Reduction practices and enhance on-site supportive services.
- Develop and manage staff schedules to meet program needs and ensure cross-training for appropriate coverage.
- Attend and actively participate in program leadership meetings and community-based funder meetings.
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, certification, and funding requirements.
- Monitor, measure, and report on operational issues, opportunities, and progress on annual goals.
- Manage program area budget and seek opportunities to grow programs and identify new funding streams.
- Maintain positive and timely communication with program funders and represent Avivo at community meetings and events.
- Promote involvement in Avivo’s commitment to undoing racism and reducing disparities, ensuring culturally responsive programming.
- High school diploma required and minimum of five years of experience in the field providing direct client care to individuals experiencing homelessness. Lived Experience of homelessness and/or SUD/Mental Health recovery can be credited up to 1 year of the experience requirement. OR
- Associate degree and three years of experience. OR
- Bachelor’s degree in human services or related and two years of experience.
- Minimum of 1-year supervisory experience, preferably in a behavioral health setting.
- Experience with and/or commitment to working in a diverse, continuum of services in a fast-paced, growing organization.
- Experience with and/or a demonstrated commitment to developing and delivering culturally responsive Harm Reduction, trauma-informed services.
- Experience with electronic health records.
- Have a current driver’s license, proof of valid car insurance and access to a personal vehicle.

About Us:
Avivo's Ending Homelessness Division is dedicated to creating pathways to housing for individuals experiencing homelessness. We partner with county coordinated entry systems, tribal governments, and operate unique street outreach teams to connect unsheltered individuals with shelter and housing. Our mission extends to supporting individuals in scattered-site apartments and site-based housing, as well as providing transitional recovery housing for those in our treatment programs. At Avivo Village, we offer a low-barrier, culturally responsive shelter focused on moving residents to permanent housing. We strive for the highest quality of services using harm reduction, housing first, and trauma-informed approaches.
Your Role:
As the Program Manager for Kimball Court, you will lead one of our Housing Support funded site-based programs, supervising a dedicated team that serves adults with a history of long-term homelessness, many of whom have co-occurring mental health and chemical health challenges. You will work closely with the Program Director to ensure the effective operation of services and a supportive environment for both residents and staff. Your leadership will drive the success of our mission and make a profound impact on the lives of those we serve.
