      The Program Manager is responsible for managing a portfolio of IT, software, and AI projects that are typically multi-departmental. In addition, this position provides assistance with managing complex initiatives/programs that may be strategic in scope within the technology sector. The Program Manager consults with internal and external partners to clarify and define project requirements. This position focuses on establishing timelines and due dates, tracking progress, managing information among stakeholders, and resolving problems and issues that arise in the context of technological and software-driven projects.


      JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
      1. Develops and manages (in the case of managing a project) or assists in developing and managing (in the case of working with a team member on a project/program) the plan surrounding project/program engagements. Managing may include but is not limited to interdependencies, dependencies, communications, scope, changes, risks, and issues.
      2. Sets realistic and practical goals for projects and develops appropriate strategies for achieving those goals.

      3. Work closely with the technical team to ensure project requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented, advocating for stakeholder needs while considering technological feasibility.
      4. Proactively identify potential risks and roadblocks related to technology implementation, providing timely insights and recommendations to mitigate issues and keep projects on track.
      5. Foster a culture of transparency and trust between technical and non-technical teams, promoting open communication and collaboration to achieve project objectives effectively.
      6. Documents communications, risks, and issues thoroughly and professionally.
      7. Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement.
      8. Provides project/program status reporting to applicable audiences and tailors reporting to fit the audience.
      9. Utilizes best practices, techniques, and standards throughout project execution.
      10. Assists in developing workflow, processes, and procedures for the department.

      Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000


      EDUCATION:
      1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

      EXPERIENCE:
      1. 2+ years of project management experience or a field of focus during education.

      2. Experience working with software implementation, AI, and/or technology-related projects.
