      We are seeking a dynamic and forward-looking Program Manager to join the Global Servicing Technology team at American Express. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Engineering Office, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the successful execution of programs and initiatives that drive organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of program management, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

      Key Responsibilities:

      Strategic Program Management

      • Collaborate with the Head of Engineering to develop and execute a strategic program roadmap that aligns with the organization's objectives.
      • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities and timelines.

      Stakeholder Engagement

      • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including engineering leaders, product owners, and business partners.
      • Facilitate communication and collaboration across cross-functional teams, ensuring a unified approach to achieving program goals.

      Risk Management

      • Identify potential risks and issues associated with programs and implement proactive mitigation strategies.
      • Monitor and report on the status of programs, providing timely updates to leadership on progress, challenges, and resolutions.

      Resource Allocation and Budget Management

      • Work closely with the Head of Engineering to allocate resources effectively, ensuring the optimal use of talent and budget for program success.
      • Track and manage program budgets, making recommendations for adjustments as needed.

      Continuous Improvement:

      • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Head Engineering Office, identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and implement best practices.
      • Foster a culture of innovation and adaptability, staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.

      Qualifications

      - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Project Management, Engineering, or related field.

      - Proven experience as a Program Manager in a technology or engineering environment.

      - Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

      - Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

      Preferred Qualifications

      - Project Management Professional (PMP) or other relevant certifications.

      - Experience working in the financial services industry.

      - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

      Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
