      About the Role:

      This position is responsible for management of delivery of specific product lines and their growth through strategic program planning and execution. Evaluate new product initiatives, identify the appropriate business and technology stakeholders and work with them to define a strategy for bringing the product to fruition. Develop financial, operational and delivery objectives for the overall portfolio and the initiatives/programs which are part of the portfolio. Ensure Technology plans are aligned with business objectives. Contribute to functional strategy development. This position has a greater degree of impact on business results and typically manages one or more programs within the product engineering domain.

      What You'll Do:

      • Understands the scope of programs as defined by the business requirements and budget process. Participates in key planning milestones and acts as a guide for the core program team from initiation through execution and completion.
      • Works to identify and obtain participation from required cross-functional core team members, including matrixed project managers, with guidance from Strategic Business Initiative or senior staff.
      • Creates program plans and maintains program record. Works with the core team to identify and schedule all the work required to fulfill program scope, including identification and management of critical path.
      • Assists in the development and implementation of key goals, objectives, and success criteria for the program. Ensures proper documentation.
      • Supports the budget and resource forecasting exercise.
      • Identifies and analyzes risks and issues.
      • Tracks and manages the program schedule and task details included in the program plan. Maintains Jira instance(s) and ensures features/user stories are populated. Organizes scrum and or project meetings with development teams and others as needed. Attends and represents.
      • Analyzes the actual performance against the plan and makes adjustments consistent with plan objectives. Works with Strategic Business Initiative to assist in action item resolution and track completion. Ensures program milestones are accomplished and ensures overall timelines are met. Documents all major plan changes in scope, approach and date delivery.
      • Communicates updates on major milestones and keeps all stakeholders informed of progress and issues. Manages proposed changes to program parameters and works with DPE Program Management and Program Managers to ensure appropriate processes and communications are followed.
      • Monitors and ensures quality of program deliverables. Works with core team and key field resources to develop and monitor deployment schedule, strategies, and tools to support the implementation of programs in the field through trials and controlled customer deployments.
      • Assist in organizing broader delivery team in a highly matrixed environment and building a rapport with other teams while holding teams accountable for their commitments and removing roadblocks to their work.
      • Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
      • Facilitates team-level change management. Ensures working teams are adhering to PMO SOPs and best practices.
      • Facilitates quarterly planning, iteration planning, portfolio backlog reviews.
      • Supports fellow PMs as and when necessary. Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance.
      • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

      • Strong interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building
      • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational skills with an ability to manage competing demands
      • Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs with the ability to establish/maintain high level of customer trust and confidence
      • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met
      • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using Agile Project Management tools such as Jira/Greenhopper, Rally,
      • Excellent oral and written communications skills and experience interacting with both business and IT individuals at all levels including the executive level creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the “big picture” view
