      Program Manager, Vendor Management – Legal Affairs

      Legal Affairs Department is looking for top skilled Program Manager, Vendor Management – Legal Affairs. Is that you?

      Work location: Remote: Southwestern Health Resources Headquarters, 1601/1603 Lyndon B. Johnson Freeway, Farmers Branch, TX 75234.

      Work environment: Legal Affairs Department.

      Please note: The Program Manager, Vendor Management – Legal Affairs will be an employee of Southwestern Health Resources (SWHR). SWHR is a clinically integrated network formed by Texas Health Resources (THR) and University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UTSW).

      Work hours:

      · Full-time, 40 hours per week.

      · Monday - Friday, Day shift.

      · This is a Hybrid position, requiring onsite workdays during the week, based on department business needs.

      · In-person attendance required at department meetings, trainings and/or other department authorized activities, at the above-mentioned address or other locations as directed by the department management.

      What You Will Do:

      Work with executive leadership to develop a multiyear strategy and vision for overall vendor management, including, development of policies, strategic roadmap, service catalogue, and maturity models. 15%
      Influence organizational leaders and strategic vendor partners to drive and achieve strategic goals for contractual performance, clinical excellence, and patient and provider satisfaction. Providing functional leadership to department leaders and business owners to build vendor management capabilities. 15%
      Actively engage and collaborate across SWHR to define optimal solutions to maximize vendor utilization, commonality, and value realization. 5%
      Collaborates with the clinical leaders to assess the clinical appropriateness and performance of vendors delivering patient care, or medical benefits, on behalf of SWHR. Partner with clinical leaders to implement improvement plans, ensure accountability, feedback loops and monitoring systems for patient care. 15%
      Manage business challenges and escalations around vendors issues (Cost, Quality, Staffing, speed of delivery, change requests, disputes etc.) in a proactive and structured manner, and effectively communicate outcomes to executive leads and key stakeholders. 5%
      Work cross functionally to build a vendor landscape assessment and partner to build a strong vendor base focusing on strategic, as well as key niche vendors. 5%
      Actively engages with the key stakeholders in all areas of the organization to define optimal solutions to maximize commonality and reusability across departments. 5%
      Work with executive leader to define and develop vendor management team KPIs and deliver consistent reporting to executive leaders and key stakeholders. 10%
      Actively engage with business owners and vendors to promote timely execution of vendor procurement processes. Oversee coordination of key vendor implementations, changes, and terminations to ensure smooth and timely completion. 15%
      Administer the organizations vendor procurement process and Vendor Procurement Council, ensuring adherence to organizational policy. Prepare and present reports to various internal governance councils. 5%
      Establish and lead a proactive, transparent, and effective communications cadence to ensure timely dissemination of information with the senior leadership team, internal councils, functional partners and strategic vendors. 5%

      What You Will Need:

      Associate's Degree Related Field Req Or
      Bachelor's Degree Related Field Pref

      Experience
      5 Years Experience in healthcare or managed care to include two years in vendor management or project management (Associate's Degree) Req or
      3 Years Experience in healthcare or managed care to include two years in vendor management or project management. (Bachelor's Degree) Req

      Ability to interface and work collaboratively with colleagues and management at various levels within an organization.
      Demonstrated ability to make quick and sound decisions.
