What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Implement and maintain standard procedures for cost information requirements from contractors and suppliers
- Perform cost engineering functions including estimating, cost control, and budget preparation
- Convert the project’s approved estimate into a control budget for cost management
- Prepare and present project cost and schedule summary reports for upper management
- Monitor project risks and implement necessary mitigation strategies
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or certification as Project Controls Manager or equivalent
- 5 years of experience in project controls management required; 5-10 years preferred
- Experience with accounting software like Yardi and Anaplan strongly preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in a data center environment
- Familiarity with earned value management techniques
- Ability to develop initial project forecasts and cash flow analysis
- Previous experience with change order management and payment application review
- Knowledge of project risk management strategies
