Job Description

Arista Professional Services team helps customers throughout the entire technology lifecycle from design to implementation, migration and ongoing operation, to ensure a seamless transition from initial exposure to being able to operate and realize tangible business outcomes from their network infrastructure.

Project Delivery Leads are in charge of projects from initiation to close, making sure the work gets done efficiently and satisfactorily. The job function is filled with creating the project plan, understanding the financials and preparing to manage them, managing a delivery team and communicating with clients.

The responsibilities of the Project Delivery Lead include:

• Develop the Overall Project Plan
  1. Set and manage the client expectations
  2. Develop a Detailed Project Plan to Deliver
     1. Capture the scope within the Detailed Project Plan
     2. Assign resources to specific tasks/milestones within the Detailed Project Plan
     3. A Gantt chart is to be developed in the provided tools and utilized to track the project schedule
• Execute the Project Plan
  1. Be accountable for the successful delivery of the project — on time and within budget — producing a delighted client
  2. Monitor Project Progress
     1. Create and deliver regular project status reports
     2. Maintain internal project tracking systems information to be accurate and up-to-date for input to reports and dashboards
     3. Manage project task/milestone acceptance documentation and initiate appropriate invoicing and revenue recognition
     4. Own problem resolution related to all aspects of the project, working with the client, account teams and internal management, as necessary
     5. Manage scope changes via internal change order processes
• Develop and Maintain Strong Client Relationships
  1. Develop a “trusted advisor” relationship with clients
  2. Provide strong, clear communications to all project stakeholders
• Successfully Close the Project
  1. Upon project completion, handle all related project close-out functions
     1. Release project resources, as appropriate
     2. Provide feedback to the Business Development team on the delivery of the project against the plan as sold
     3. Capture and share lessons learned for future delivery engagements for continuous improvement

Qualifications

• BS degree or higher, or equivalent industry experience (10 years or more) desired
• PMI (or similar) Certification, or equivalent industry experience (10 years or more) desired
• Industry experience as a Project Delivery Lead or Project/Program Manager for 10 or more years desired
