Job Description
- Req#: 62287
- Provide project management ownership throughout the planning, design, cost estimating, risk assessment, schedule development and pre-sanction stages of the project lifecycle.
- Effective escalation of key project issues to leadership, with recommended action plans to mitigate issues.
- Give direction for projects assigned to ensure progress towards business unit objectives.
- Engineering degree in an applicable subject area.
- Four or more years of progressively responsible experience.
- In Canada, you are required to be registered as a Professional Engineer or eligible to register.
- Technical expertise to understand engineering fundamentals of Gas Pipelines or major utility projects.
- Effective communication skills to facilitate communication between all team members.
- Project Management skills to prepare projects to move from development to sanction/execution.
- Work independently and self-prioritize and handle changing priorities and work tasks.
- Effective presentation skills to present the scope/cost/schedule to senior executives and relay any issues, actions and/or mitigations to advance projects.
- Role requires a valid driver’s license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
- Office environment.
- Up to 25% travel to Enbridge offices, operating facilities, construction sites, and supplier facilities.
- Available outside normal work hours to address any technical, cost, safety, quality, and environmental issues that occur during active projects.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
