      Summary

      Oversees IT and business projects for the Perdue AgriBusiness (PAB) division from start to finish. Manages and coordinates all phases of a project, including project formation, requirements definition, software selection, development, testing, implementation and post implementation support. Responsible for coordination, communication and change management with stakeholders at all levels. Will be required to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Maintains and facilitates use of project management best practices for the PAB IT team.

      The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $167,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications with annual bonus available (variable depending on performance).

      Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

      • Assist business leaders in building strong business cases to support assigned initiatives.
      • Leads a team comprising business associates, technical staff, and consultants to develop effective, efficient solutions that meet the business's requirements, utilizing project management skills.
      • Maximizes use of available technology to enhance and improve business processes
      • Works with the IT Director to implement and facilitate project management best practices for the PAB IT team. This includes the effective use of PM software, the stage-gate process, project prioritization, etc.
      • Defines project resource requirements and secures resources. Defines project timelines and uses appropriate tools for project scheduling and tracking.
      • Assists the IT Director in recruiting and developing a team to provide the skills needed to support all initiatives.
      • Builds effective working relationships within Application Systems, other IT areas, consulting teams, and the business community.

      Education

      • HS Diploma required
      • Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer-related major preferred

      Experience Requirements

      • 8 - 10 years of experience with project management, business process reengineering, and translating business requirements to technical solutions
      • Managed multiple large projects with full cycle implementations in a senior-level role
      • Expert knowledge of both waterfall and agile methodologies
      • Strong blend of business and technology skills with a detailed understanding of common business processes
      • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with all levels in the organization
      • Strong organizational and people management skills are required
      • Strong negotiation skills are required
      • Ability to manage and coordinate complex projects

      Experience Preferred

      • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics
      • Experience with DycoTrade
      • P rior use of Jira software
      • Prior use of Clarizen project management software

      Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

      Position is mostly sedentary but may require occasional moving to other offices or buildings.

      May need to move light equipment or supplies from one place to another.

      May need to access files, supplies and equipment.
