- Reports projects information to the WASS Program Manager, and all relevant levels of the WASS staff, through daily coordination and periodically during formal In Progress Reviews IPR.
- Supervises and coordinates with the project team matrix staff, analysts planners, etc. ensuring that all facets of program management are applied to developing and ongoing efforts and are in compliance with all contractual requirements.
- Works as part of an Integrated Process Team IPT with AAR WASS matrix staff members who provide proper finance, contracting, human resourcing, compliance, and legal review on emerging and ongoing programs
- Participates in the development of new business and capture support ensures program team is efficient and effective in all aspects of project development and execution.
- Manage cost, schedule, and performance parameters pertinent to the project and ensure all contractual requirements are met.
- Properly manage direct charge customer requirements with appropriate manpower and resources.
- Perform financial analysis, prepare specialized project budgets to include staffing and operational needs.
- Develop an Integrated Master Schedule IMS outlining critical schedule requirements pertaining to project.
- Ensure contractual requirements are met while adhering to associated cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
- Monitor project budget oversee financial wellbeing of the project by exercising cost controls.
- Implement improvements to the project to meet changing mission parameters and requirements.
- Provides WASS Program Manager with direct, complete, and effective recommendations to ongoing challenges.
- Position requires U.S. Security Clearance.
- This position may require domestic and/or international travel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- B.A./B.S. degree from a four-year college or university in a related field and/or combination of education and related experience.
- Project Management Professional certified by the Project Management Institute.
- Master’s Degree in Management
- At least 3-5 years’ experience as a project/program manager.
- Profit and loss experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint Project and Visio).
- Must be willing to relocate to company headquarters.
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience.
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in the aviation industry.
- Experience in negotiation and customer support.
- Ability to maintain strong customer relationships.
- Prior military/US government experience.
