What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Manage projects from initial concept through construction completion, ensuring adherence to technical, regulatory, and funding requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, guiding them through funding options, permitting, and project execution
- Supervise multidisciplinary teams, providing technical leadership and mentorship for successful project delivery
- Develop construction documents, including permit applications, drawings, specifications, and reports, while maintaining high-quality standards
- Manage budgets and schedules, ensuring projects meet client expectations and industry best practices
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field
- Considerable consulting engineering experience in the water or wastewater industry
- Licensure as a Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated project management experience and strong technical skills
- Strong leadership ability with a passion for managing and mentoring others
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Master's degree in a relevant field
- Familiarity with New England and New York water or wastewater regulations and permitting processes
- Understanding of Revit use on multidisciplinary water or wastewater infrastructure projects
- Experience in water or wastewater system design, including treatment plants and asset management planning
- Additional licensure in multiple states to support diverse project needs
