What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Plan, coordinate, and manage all phases of heavy civil projects, from initiation to closeout
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocations for cost efficiency and timely delivery
- Liaise with stakeholders, including owners, architects, and contractors, to monitor project progress and resolve issues
- Conduct regular site inspections to assess project status and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
- Prepare project documentation, including status reports, invoices, and compliance records
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Minimum of three years of experience in construction project management
- Relevant professional certification in project management or construction management, such as PMP
- Strong financial understanding and experience in project budgeting and cost control
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local construction regulations and approval processes
- Proficiency in MS Project, Office 365, SharePoint, and Trimble software
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as EIT, PE, PMP, MSHA, and OSHA
- Excellent project management skills, including effective planning and prioritizing
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents, including blueprints
- Strong leadership and communication skills to manage project teams effectively
